Soft fold motorised roman blinds were chosen to bring texture and glamour, along with blockout roller blinds for extra layering and light control.
This combination is particularly good for period windows, as they’re often casement (opening vertically) and can be draughty. Double blinds help keep the house cool in summer, and warm in winter.
With substantial renovation, new windows and an existing leafy yard creating lots of light, the project suited a more substantial colour to give texture and drama to each room.
